Academic Year 2017-2018

English is taught in all scientific subjects and at every level. Students are divided into small groups according to their level.

L1-L2: General English. Evaluations based on the Cambridge ESOL exams (Preliminary English Test, PET, and First Certificate in English, FCE).

L3-M1-M2: Scientific and Business English: Simulation of scientific conferences, CV and cover letter writing skills, job interviews, business meetings, intercultural projects, presentation skills,  scientific posters, creation of a start-up, blog writing...


Preparation for the TOEIC, BULATS, TOEFL and CLES 2 for candidates of the Agrégation and CAPES.

If you wish to improve and practice your English outside of normal lessons, the Language Department also offers informal Conversation sessions with native speakers which are open to all students at lunch times and at the end of the day.

The Language Department also has a Multimedia Resource Centre and all rooms are equipped with a PC and audio-visual equipment.

The Language Department also organises a DEBATING CLASS. This class can replace your conventional English U.E. if you get the go-ahead from the coordinator for English. You can follow your course AND the Debating course.
